Questions people ask us

Real questions, including the ones people apologise for asking. None of them are silly and all of them get a straight answer.

Before you come

Everything from flexibility to what happens if you hate it.

No. That is the single most common reason people give for not coming, and it has the relationship backwards. Flexibility is something practising produces, not something it requires.

You very probably will not be, and if you are, nothing about the class changes. Every shape is offered with a version that works from a chair or with a block.

Then you stop. Lying down for the rest of the class is a normal outcome, not a withdrawal, and it happens in every single class we run.

Nothing in these classes asks you to believe anything. There is no chanting you have to join in with and nothing is asked of you beyond breathing and moving.

The timetable is being finalised and is not published yet. Write to us and you will get the current one by return rather than a guess from a page.

The address is not published on the site yet. Ask through the form and we will send it to you along with how to find the door.

Then you have spent an hour lying on a warm floor, which is not the worst outcome. Try a different class before you write off the whole thing, because they are less alike than they look.
