Seven classes, one room
They differ in pace, not in welcome. If you pick the wrong one, you will be told kindly and pointed at a better fit.

Moving
Vinyasa flow
One shape leads into the next, and the breath decides how fast that happens. Vinyasa is the warmest class on the timetable, and the one that leaves you a little wrung out in a good way.
- Warm by the end of the first ten minutes
- Standing shapes, hips, then floor
- Every shape has a lower option, offered out loud

Unhurried
Slow flow
The same shapes as a flowing class, with the hurry taken out. Fewer poses, held longer, with enough time between them to notice what has actually changed.
Held
Yin
A handful of floor shapes, each held for three to five minutes, with the muscles deliberately left soft. Quiet on the outside, and considerably less quiet on the inside.
- Around six shapes, three to five minutes each
- Everything is done seated or lying down
- Props hold you so your muscles do not have to

Supported
Restorative
Four or five positions, each one built out of bolsters and blankets so that your body is completely held. There is nothing to achieve here. That is the entire point of it.
Pregnancy
Prenatal
A class built around the body you have this month, not the one you had before or the one you will have after. Slow, well propped, and completely free of anyone telling you to push through.
- Wide stances, props and a wall when useful
- Hips, lower back and breath get the attention
- Every shape has a version you can leave early

Starting
Beginners
A class where nothing is assumed. Every shape is named before it is asked for, every option is offered out loud, and nobody is looking at what you can or cannot do yet.
Lying down
Yoga nidra and meditation
You lie down under a blanket and follow a voice. There is no movement and no posture to hold. It sits somewhere very close to sleep without quite going in.
- Done entirely lying down, fully supported
- No movement and no posture to hold
- Good for people who cannot switch off at night

Choosing between them
The questions that come up when two classes both look right.
If you have never done yoga, beginners. If you have and you are tired, slow flow. If you are tired and also stiff, yin. If you are simply finished, restorative.
Yes, and most people do. Many settle into two: one that moves and one that does not.
One hour, doors open before that so you have time to settle rather than arriving mid sentence.
Write to us first. Groups are kept small on purpose, so a place is not guaranteed without a word beforehand.
Still not sure?
Describe your week in two lines and we will tell you which room to be in.
Ask about a place
Tell us which class caught your eye and we will let you know what is open.
