Somewhere to put the week down

Yorei Yoga is a small studio with slow classes, warm floors and a room that stays quiet. Come for an hour, leave with your shoulders lower than when you arrived.

The idea

You do not have to arrive calm

Most people walk in wound up, and that is exactly the point. Nothing here asks you to be flexible, peaceful or experienced before you start. You put your bag down, you lie on the floor, and the hour does the rest.

We would rather you came once a week for a year than every day for a fortnight.

How an hour goes

Nothing happens that you have not been told about first

Classes run for an hour. You are told what is coming before it comes, every shape has an easier version, and stopping halfway is a normal thing that happens in every class.

  • Mats, blocks, straps and blankets are here already
  • Hands on adjustments only if you say yes
  • Small groups, so the teacher can actually see you

The room

Wood, linen, plants, and a lot of empty floor.

The space

Built to be quiet, not to be photographed

One room, one window wall, plants that are actually watered and a floor that stays warm underfoot. There is no music in the changing area and no screen anywhere in the building.

One letter a month, no more

A short note when a new class opens or a workshop is announced. No offers, no countdowns, and one click to leave.

We keep your address only for this letter. Read the privacy policy. Privacy policy
