What this site collects
Two things, and only if you choose to give them. The contact form records your name, your email address and your message. The newsletter form records your email address, the date and time you subscribed, the exact wording of the consent you agreed to, your IP address and your browser identification. That last set exists so that we can prove, if ever asked, that you asked to be on the list.
What it does not collect
There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no third party tracker anywhere on this site. The only cookie set is the session cookie Laravel needs to keep a form submission secure, and it disappears when you close your browser.
Why we hold it
Contact messages are held so somebody can answer you and so we can look back at what was said. Newsletter addresses are held so we can send the monthly letter, and for no other purpose. Your address is never sold, rented, or passed to another company.
How long
Contact messages are kept for two years and then deleted. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short period afterwards so that the proof of your original consent survives long enough to be useful if the subscription is ever queried.
Leaving the list
Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link that works in one click, with no login and no questions. You can also ask through the contact form and we will do it for you.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Write through the contact form and we will action it, normally within a few days.
Who can see it
Only the studio, through the administration area of this website. The data lives on the same server as the site and is not copied into any third party mailing service.
