Yoga nidra and meditation
You lie down under a blanket and follow a voice. There is no movement and no posture to hold. It sits somewhere very close to sleep without quite going in.

What the hour is
Lying down, following a voice, doing nothing else
You settle on your back with as much support as you want, and then the class is spoken rather than performed. Attention is walked slowly around the body, then parked. Nothing is asked of you physically at any point.
- Done entirely lying down, fully supported
- No movement and no posture to hold
- Good for people who cannot switch off at night

Who it suits
For anyone who has tried meditation and given up
Sitting still and watching your breath does not work for everybody. Lying down and being talked through it works for far more people, and asks nothing of your knees, your back or your patience.
Before you book
The three things people ask us about this class.
Both names are fair. It is a guided practice done lying down, and people who come looking for a meditation class usually find what they wanted here.
It happens often and it is not a problem. You will still have got most of what the practice offers.
Not at all. This is the one class where previous experience makes no difference whatsoever.
